Friday the 13th part 5

The much shit upon entry in this long running horror series. It is also the one with the most kills. Tommy from part 4 is now outta the nuthouse and living at a group home. But it seems Jason is back and is killing all the residents of the home. I have always loved this film,and have defended it for years. The kills are interesting,like the one were someone is killed by having a road flare shoved into their mouth. This time while watching it I listened to the fan commentary by the guys from Deadpit Radio. And Uncle Bill And CK helped make a entertaining film even better. I had actually forgotten that Dudley from Different Strokes has a kinda major part in this film. And the scene were his brother is in the outhouse singing along with his girl is so bad it is great. One thing that I had never noticed till I listened to the commentary is how when Tommy is seeing the imaginary Jason the mask has the normal red stripes but when it is the fake Jason it has blue stripes. Thanks to some good kills and a general fun atmosphere Friday 5 gets a B-.
