Kill Baby Kill,Devil's Nightmare,God told me to,Good against Evil,Pieces,Kiss me Kill me,Satan's School for girls,The Night Evelyn came out of the grave,Cathy's Curse,The Ghost-Fright Night 10 movie collection
Brentwood
$10

Got this for X-mas back in 2002. Had saw it on some site online and was interested in a few of the films on it. So when my Aunt the midget was asking what I wanted for X-mas I mentioned it to her. I figured at a buck a film it had to worth the price.

Kill Baby Kill-85 minutes This is a really fun piece of mid 60s Euro-horror from Mario Bava. There is better copies out there now. But the print used on this doesn't look too bad.

Devil's Nightmare-95 minutes This is an early 70s Euro-Horror film. And it is really good. What I love is how it is obvious Brentwood used a Redemption laser disc/vhs for the master. Cause they left on the introduction by Ellien Daily. Still the print looks really good. And this is a nice way to introduce someone to Euro-horror.

God told me to-91 minutes A mid 70s Larry Cohen forgotten gem. A series of murders are happening. And when the cops catch the suspects they all say their motive was "God told me to". Really fun film.

Pieces-90 minutes What can be said about this batshit insane film. It has it all gore, rampart nudity and one of the craziest endings I have seen in a horror film. Loved it so much I ended up tracking down the great dvd version Grindhouse Releasing put out.

Good against Evil-90 minutes Pretty boring made for tv film. Not worth watching really.

Kiss me Kill me-90 minutes This is a 70s Italian film based on a comic. Also known as Baba Yaga it is worth at least one viewing. But is nothing special.

Satan's School for girls-75 minutes This 70s made for TV film is mostly remembered now for it's cast. That has two future Charlies Angels stars. Not bad for a made for TV film.

The Night Evelyn came out of the grave-103 minutes A early 70s Euro-horror. But this print is horribly edited. Worth tracking down the uncut version.

Cathy's Curse-88 minutes This is a mid 70s Canadian made Exorcist rip off. The print used was ripped from a Sinister Cinema VHS and looks like shit. Skip it.

The Ghost-97 minutes Another Euro-Horror and this one isn't too bad. Has Barbara Steele so that helps out.

Now this is out of print and I have no clue how much used copies sell for. But it does have 4 really good films. And 3 average films. So if you can find it for $10 or under grab a copy.

Powerslam Productions Spring Bash 03/09/2013

After a 2 months with no shows Powerslam Pro is back. Thanks to a screw up on my part I thought the doors didn't open till 6:30pm. So Blake and I left a little later than we should have. But as always thanks to Reggie Matthews we had floor seats waiting on us. We got to the McComb High School at about 6:15pm. Ran into Jon-Paul,who remembered us from the Last Rites show in Brookhaven back in August of last year. Talked with him for a few before Reggie came over. Bullshitted with him for about 10 minutes and then went off to go get us some seats. Since I knew I had at least 2 friends coming up from NOLA we were trying to find 4 seats next to each other. While looking for seats ran into Stephen and his two sons. Turns out they had went to WWE Elimination Chamber. Sounds like they had fun.

Cause we got there so late, all the front row seats were full. So we grabbed a couple in the second row. Well I kept calling my buddy to let him know I had grabbed his ticket. He finally answered his cell and told me he will be here in 10 minutes. So we got someone to save our seats and walked outside to meet him.

Collin and his buddy Damen show up about 10 minutes before bell time. We head inside and ended up sitting in the next to last row of the floor seats. The show starts off with Brent and the Commissioner in the ring and they do a nice tribute to Percy Pringle III/Paul Bearer. Talking about how much  Percy did for the wrestling business. Then there was a moment of silence for Percy. Was a nice tribute to one of the best managers ever.

Then it was time for the first match. Kool Jay Steele is out first. This will be the first time I have seen him wrestle live. But he did do a run in and attacked Reggie at the last Powerslam Pro show.
Jay walks around ringside and the crowd boos the hell out of him. All four of us are wondering who is opponent is gonna be. Then "Eye of the Tiger" hits the speakers and we go wild.

 Stud Matthews comes out.
Stud hits the ring takes of his headband and puts it on the ref. The crowd goes nuts for Stud. I love his 80s era Hulk Hogan gimmick. It is mega over and even though it seems most of this crowd has never been to a Powerslam Pro show before they love Stud.

Really fun back and forth match. With Stud doing all the Hogan mannerisms and moves. I marked the hell out when he did an Ax Bomber. Stud goes for the legdrop of doom, and after 2 attempts he manages to pin Jay. Great match to start the show off. It got the crowd hyped up and set the pace and mood for the rest of the show. After winning Stud went out into the crowd and thumb wrestled some of the kids. It is little touches like that that make Stud and Powerslam Pro stand out.

Match 2 Lukas Frost managed by Hardbody Harper vs Purple Haze Davey Hendrix

Frost and Harper are out first. Seems Lukas has cut his hair and it really changes his look.
Now Purple Haze I had never heard of ,but Collin and his buddy had seen him at some shows in NOLA. This ended up being a great high flying match. With both Frost and Haze working their asses off. As always Harper is outside the ring cheating and jawjacking with the fans. After a nicely paced match Frost ends up winning. But Purple Haze had a great match and the crowd seems to have loved him. I really hope he comes back to the next Powerslam Pro show.

Match 3 Blake Stevens vs Ling Pham

Blake comes out first, and he is another guy who I have never seen before. I make a joke about how he looks like my buddy Collin. Then Sensasian Ling Pham comes out. Having seen him back in December I know how good he is. And the crowd seems to really like Ling.
They lock up and we get a fast paced match. Ling is pretty damn good. Reminds me in some ways of a young Ultimo Dragon.
After a really well done match Ling gets the pin.

Match 4 The Outlaw Matt Lincie vs Sgt Sorroco

Outlaw comes out first and the crowds hates him so much. I notice he has a new singlet. Which has no purple on it. So that means we can't make Purple Cowboy jokes. Oh well. Then Sgt Sorroco comes out and all the fans love him. I love the part where Outlaw drops both the straps on his singlet. I keep waiting for him to do a Lawler style fistdrop. Both guys put on a fun match. With lots of action from both of them.

Sadly Sgt ends up getting pinned by the Outlaw. But  it was still a fun match.

Well Brent comes to the ring and tells us it is time for a new edition of the Champagne Lounge with Shane Champagne. Shane comes out to the ring.
Shane gets in the ring and tells us he has a special guest for the Champagne Lounge tonight. All the way from North Korea is The Great Mystic.
After a few minutes of Shane and Mystic talking in what I believe to be fake Korean and us trying to start a "Where's your NUKES?" chant, music hits the speakers. And out comes Reggie Matthews and Wes Adams. They are wearing New Orleans Saints Jerseys and green pants.
Shane and Mystic leave the ring. Shane grabs the mic and says they will only get back in if Reggie and Wes take off the Saint's jerseys. Which they do to reveal they have on McComb High  School jerseys on under them. The crowd goes nuts. That is when I realize that McComb's colors are green and yellow. The bell is rung and Mystic takes off his gi. And I turn to Collin and tell him "Look The Gigolo showed up!"

Yeah I know most people reading this won't get the joke. But sometimes you have to throw in some inside humor.
It turns out to be a great tag match. With Mystic doing most of the work for his team.

The highlights are Wes yanking off Shane's wig. Mystic catching Reggie with a super stiff kick and busting his nose open. And then Reggie and Wes going outside the ring. Reggie puts on Shane's wig and Wes puts on Mystic's hood.
After a hard fought match Reggie and Wes win.

Brent comes out and tells us it is time for intermission. Collin and his buddy head outside for a bit. Blake and I go talk to Sgt Sorroco.
Then we walk over and talk to Reggie some. We get Reggie to sign the covers of the Powerslam Pro DVDs we bought at the last show. All the face wrestlers are out and signing autographs. And they are swamped with kids. Seems most of the kids at the show have bought the kid's replica belts and the paper Rey Jr masks. I see Wes and talk to him for a minute. He tells me to come meet him at the gimmick table. We go over to it and he autographs the dvd covers for us. This is another thing I love about indy wrestling, how the guys interact with the crowds. You don't see say John Cena coming out at intermission and talking to the fans. But at every Powerslam Pro show I have been too it happens.

Well intermission ends and Brent hits the ring. So it is time for the 6th match.

Match 6 Hotshot Blake Wilder vs Vordel Walker

Wilder comes out first. I am slightly disappointed he didn't were his gold and white boots. Mainly cause those boots made him look like a Power Ranger. Vordel comes out and the crowd cheers the hell out of him. This will be the first time I have seen Vordel live. But I have seen lots of his matches on DVD or Youtube. Both guys lock up and go back and forth.
Vordel has control of the match. But then Wilder hits a nice stiff looking kick.

Wilder ends up cheating to win. And Vordel is pissed.

Match 7 Calvin Rose vs Luke Hawx for the Powerslam Pro title

Calvin won a chance to face Luke at December Double Shot part 2. Calvin and Hardbody Harper are out first. Then Luke comes out. He does a great bit where he wheels a fan in a wheelchair to ringside and pretends like the fan is holding him back.
Luke finally gets in the ring and it is obvious he is a huge crowd favorite.
The match ends up being a wild brawl that goes all over the gym.
Rose throws Hawx over the side and Luke hits the wooden bleachers really hard.

They end up brawling all around the ring. And in one of the highlights of the night a guy in the front row stands up and punches Calvin right in the back.  Finally they get back into the ring and we get some stiff ass punches and moves. Calvin goes for a pin and Harper holds down Luke's leg. So the ref makes the 3 count and Calvin is the new Powerslam Pro Champ. Luke gets up and starts yelling about how he was cheated out of the title. The Commissioner comes out and tells Luke he didn't see it and the ref's word is final. Luke is obviously pissed.
Luke says he wants to punch the ref. The Commissioner tells Luke if he lays a hand on the ref Luke will be suspended for one show. Luke ask the crowd if he should hit the ref. The crowd shouts YES!!!!! So Luke slaps the ref hard. Well we all think this is the end of the show and lots of the crowd is getting up and getting ready to leave. But the Commissioner gets on the mic and tells us "There is no way we can end the show like that. So how about a Battle Royal?" The crowd gets very excited.

Match 8 Battle Royal with Ling Pham,Blake Stevens,Sgy Sorroco,Kool Jay Steele,Purple Haze,Outlaw Matt Lincie,Studd Matthews,Lukas Frost ,Rumble O'Reily,The Great Mystic and Shane Champagne

Now sadly my batteries in my camera died right after the Battle Royale started.
The highlights are the Outlaw eliminating at least 5 people. And then the last 3 people in the ring are Frost,Outlaw and Stud. Stud starts getting double teamed by the two heels. But he "Studs UP!" and makes a great comeback. Stud gets Outlaw out onto the ringmat. And Frost messes up and eliminates Outlaw. Then Stud throws Frost over the top rope. The crowd explodes with cheers. It seems Stud is mega over with the crowd and really it makes sense. He has one of the best gimmicks I have seen in an indy in years. After the match, most of the wrestlers come out and we go around talking to some of them and get pictures.

I see Hardbody Harper and walk over to talk to him. And get a great picture with him.
We see Stud at ringside surrounded by kids. After all the kids get autographs and pictures ,Collin,Blake and I go to get a picture with Stud.
Stud points out that we are all  pointing but him. So he says "Ok we gotta take another picture.
I jokingly dub us the "Studamaniacs!" Well I walk over and go thank Reggie for the great show and he tells me to wait around for a bit he wants to talk to me.

We head out into the lobby and are just bullshitting. When all of the sudden someone puts me into a full nelson. Reggie had snuck up behind me. He tells us about the next two shows. Next months is in Hattisburg and then the May show will be in Liberty. Then Reggie tells us about getting his nose busted open and a great story about a guy at another show getting busted way open at a show he worked years ago.

We walk outside and Jon-Paul comes out and we stand out there talking to him for over an hour. With lots of great stories told. Finally we all head out to get something to eat. Hit up Arby's and spent over an hour just eating and bullshitting wrestling, movies and strangely Robert E Howard Conan the Barbarian stories.

As always Powerslam Pro puts on great shows for a great price. They are family friendly. If they are running a show anywhere near you please go. You will get a great show and all the talent is super friendly. Thanks again to everyone at Powerslam Pro and the McComb High School for a great night of wrestling action.

Hostel,Hostel II,The Tattooist,The Hunt for the BTK Killer 4 movie collection
Mill Creek Entertainment
$5

Can't remember if this was an X-mas present or I grabbed it out of the $5 bin. But it's $1.25 a film.

Hostel-94 minutes This is the same unrated cut that was on the previous DVD minus all the extras. Either you like this film or you don't. But if you do this is a nice cheap version.

Hostel II-95 minutes This again is the same as the older unrated DVD. No extras. But a nice cheap version to get.

The Tattooist-89 minutes Evil tattoo shitpile. Not worth the $1.25

The Hunt for the BTK Killer-88 minute Unrated and a not bad fictionalization of the BTK case.Robert Forester is pretty good and from what I remember it seems to follow the real life events semi closely. If you like movies based on serial killers this isn't a bad film.

This set's buyability is based on if you like the first two Hostel films and don't already own them. The Hunt for the BTK Killer is a good film but not really worth $5 on it's own.

Really late Multipak Monday

Demons & Witches Advantage Collection
BCI
$5

We get 10 movies in this set.I got this at cause I was trying to collect all the Witchcraft films on DVD. But some are hard to find and all of them are horrible horrible films. But it is 50 cent a film.

Witchcraft X-90 minutes  Stephanie Beaton is in this one as a very Scully like detective. Filmed in the UK the only big stand out is they got sorta scream queen Elieen Daily for the lead villain. Horrible film just horrible.

Witchcraft XI:Sisters in Blood-90 minutes 3 college girls go do a spell in a graveyard. Get possessed adn proceed to fuck every thing that moves. Stephanie Beaton shows but up as I'm Not Scully. But still a horrible film.

Witchcraft XII:The Lair of the Serpent-88 minutes Ok this is actually worst than the last two. Never managed to make it more than 30 minutes into it.

The Strangers-90 minutes Some kind of werewolf/lesbian/Skinamax after dark film. Skip it.

Crystal Force II-85 minutes Wow the first one was horrible this one is even worst. But so bad it is semi enjoyable.

Demonsoul-85 minutes Some kind of demonic possession film. Seems to focus more on boobs than a plot. Skip it.

Bloodbath-88 minutes Another film that focuses more on boobs than plot. Skip it.

Evil Sister-90 minutes Add Boobs and devil worship to a normal Lifetime movie and you get Evil Sister. Worth one watch if you are drunk.

The Screaming-90 minutes Pretty well done, but very low budget horror film. Best film on the pack. Worth 3 bucks by it's self.

Hell Spawn-90 minutes Another well done but very very low budget film. But still watchable.

The 3 films make this pack worth 5 bucks. But only if you can low budgets and cheesy acting.

Interview with Cinena Sewer creator Robin Bougie

I first started talking to Robin about 2 years ago. Had ordered the first softcover collection of the early Cinema Sewer zines and loved it. So found him on Facebook and we bullshitted about movies and stuff. Since then we have traded movies and zines a few times. And then this year for X-mas he was nice enough to send me not only a carded Dr Skull B Pez but this weird looking Japanese candy dispenser.
Now back to Cinema Sewer it is an annual magazine that covers sleazy films/comics/TV shows of all eras. But he does mostly focus on stuff from the mid 80s and before. I subscribe to it and look forward to each new issue.

Cinema Sewer online shop Warning NSFW

So about a week ago I jokingly told him I wanted to interview him for my humble blog here. "Sure Newt just email me the questions." So I sat down came up with a handful of questions and when I woke up earlier today saw he had answered them. Hope yall enjoy.

1.As a kid what cartoons were can't miss for you? And have you went
back and rewatched them and realized they were crap?
I didn't have cable, so I did all my cartoon watching at friends places on Saturday morning after sleepovers. I loved that, man. That was the *LIFE*! Eating all their cereal and watching their tv, and just totally living it up! I loved watching KID VIDEO, WACKY RACES, SATURDAY SUPERCADE, THUNDARR THE BARBARIAN, TRANSFORMERS, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS, and I was actually really really into the old 1960s SPIDER-MAN cartoon which aired in reruns all the time in Calgary Alberta Canada, where I grew up. I think I saw every episode of that at least 4 times, it ran so often.

To be honest, not a lot of those old cartoons have held up for me all that well. In fact, if I'm gonna revisit old cartoons, I'm more likely to watch the early 1990s Japanese stuff I got into in my late teens and 20s, like RIDING BEAN, any of the Studio Ghibli movies, LEGEND OF THE OVERFIEND, ADVENTURE KID, KITE, MEZZO FORTE, and PERFECT BLUE.

2.What one childhood toy do you wish you still had? And was there a
toy you always wanted but never got?
When I was a kid in the early 80s we were pretty poor. Single mom on welfare. I didn't get many toys, to be honest, which is probably why I started drawing in the first place -- as a way to keep myself entertained. So actually it kinda worked out good, because I love drawing. Many of my toys were hand-me-downs from my brothers and sister who had already moved out of the house by the time I was going to grade school. I got their lego and their board games, and a slinky and a bunch of other toys that were popular in the 60s. Haha it was kind of bullshit, man! All my other friends had He-Man and transformers and Gi-Joe, so I would just go play with their toys. Got me out of the house, I guess. It probably also explains why I started shoplifting hotwheels cars from the drugstore. I stole nearly a hundred of them over the span of a year before I got caught and brought home in the back of a police cruiser. My mom went fucking ballistic on me, especially after the cops told her she was a bad mom. After that any time I was gonna steal, I almost threw up I got so upset. It was like CLOCKWORK ORANGE or something.

I do remember the very first toy that I saved up and bought with my very own money, though, the LaserTag-ish electronic "tag" game with guns called PHOTON. It was fucking awesome. Loved that to bits. Bought it at radioshack for like $30 or something like that. Took me months to save up that much.

A toy I always wanted and never got? Hmmm... that would have to be pretty much all of them, dude! hahaha! I used to just pour over the department store catalogs and stare at the pictures of toys for fucking hours! Oh, man now that I'm listening to myself here, it sounds like I was fucking Charlie from Charile And the Chocolate Factory! haha I had a good childhood, I swear!

3.Kirby or Ditko? Please explain your reasoning.
As a kid I prefered Ditko over Kirby, and thought Kirby's art was ugly. As an adult, I feel exactly the opposite. The only reason I can give you is that kids don't know shit.

4.If you became a rapper what would your rap name be?
BOUGIEMAN!
And my crew would be the Bougieclan!

5.Name 3 comics from your childhood that inspired you.
HEAVY METAL magazine: Possibly my biggest inspiration as a young teen.

TINTIN: Ok, now it sounds like i'm just naming off European comics, but I didn't even know TinTin was European when I was a kid. I just loved this comic, and read them all. All the Canadian libraries had them (and Asterix books) in every kids section of the library all through the 1980s. I wonder if they still do? I should check.

THE MINI-COMICS OF COLIN UPTON: Colin is a small press comics artist here in Vancouver, and I discovered his mini comics when I was in Junior High. I came to Vancouver on summer vacation, and they had his comics in an art gallery here that was doing a show on independent comic art. I bought a few and took them back home to Calgary, and they basically changed the way I thought about comics, and made me realize that I could make my own. Today, Colin lives downstairs from me in my apartment building and my wife and I babysit his cat when he goes away. Funny how things work out!

6.Why do you think the gorgeous Thora Birch's career has went into the toilet?
Women generally have a very short shelf life in Hollywood. Some seem to be able to be famous on into middle age and beyond by either being Oscar-calibre performers or utter media train-wrecks, but most don't keep a career much further than their early to mid 30s. Think about all the other young actresses that were big in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. Most of them had a 10 year window, tops. Meanwhile male actors get to be sex symbols far into their fucking 60s -- and often with their love interests being WAAAAY younger women. It's pretty fucking revolting, if you ask me. Hollywood is kinda gross. People love to talk shit about how the average porn star's career is so short, but at least they know that going in. They get in, make their cash, and quickly get out to go have a "normal life". Everyone is on the same page. In Hollywood they're far more dishonest about how things operate.

Multipak Mondays 003

Universal 100th Anniversary spotlight collection Classic Monsters
Universal Studios
$8

Unlike the previous multipaks this one has 4 films that most people have heard of. I got it for X-mas this year. From one of my amazing Aunts.

Dracula-1931- 85 minutes The classic with Bela Lugosi in the lead role. Now I am not a huge fan of this film. Besides Bela and Dwight Frye I don't find any of the other actors/actresses to be very good. But Bela and Dwight keep the film from being a total bust. But anyone that considers themselves a fan of the horror genre of film needs to see this at least once. I love the commentary by David J. Skal. And there is a decent documentary about the film.

Frankenstein-1931-71 minutes First saw this film when I was 4. My mother and I had helped my Aunt and Uncle move to Texas. And my Uncle was excited cause Frankenstein was going to be airing on TV one day. So I watched it with him and became fascinated with Frankenstein's monster. Boris Karloff is great as the monster.Colin Clive is good as Dr Frankenstein and Dwight Frye turns in an amazing performance as Fritz. I have watched this film at least 10 times over the years. Like Dracula this includes a commentary, this time by Rudy Behimer.

The Bride of Frankenstein-1935-75 minutes  This is my second favorite of the classic Universal Horror films. I actually read a novelization of the film long before I saw it. Then late one night in the early 90s I saw SciFi channel was airing it. So I sat down to watch it. Karloff and Clive return as the Monster and Dr Frankenstein. The great Dwight Frye plays a henchman of Dr  Pretorius and as always Frye does a great job. The last 20 minutes of the film are breath taking. And like the last two films we get a commentary.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon-1954-79 minutes Originally released in theaters in 3d,this is the final film in the Universal monsters films. The Gill-man has always been a favorite of mine. And he was popular enough to get two sequels. Neither of which are as good as the original. The stunningly beauty Julie Adams stars as the love interest in this film. And she has a look that is both of it's time and timeless. I really want to see this in 3d at least once. But I think the only home release in 3d is the new Blu Ray release. And like the other 3 films in this pack we get a commentary.

Now I see this pack selling for 8 to 15 bucks online and it is worth that. All 4 films have great transfers and all the extras are interesting.

Multipak Mondays 002

Ghoul School
Brentwood
$7.50

Got this one for X-mas back sometime in the mid 2000s. Remember adding it to my wish list cause it has Ghoul School and the documentary Shock Cinema.

Ghoul School-1990-72 minutes

I first heard about this in Alternative Cinema magazine. And been wanting to see it for years. It is a decent low budget zombie film. When a chemical gets into a high school's water supply, the school becomes over run with zombies. I know Camp Motion Pictures has put out a stand alone DVD of this film. Which has a entertaining commentary. But the copy in this set looks and sounds decent. Worth a watch if you like low budget horror.

Filthy McNasty-2002-46 minutes

Starring Debbie Rochon,Chris Seaver and Teen Ape,this is the tale of two nerdy girls. Who receive a wish from a demon to become hot chicks. As with most films from Mr Seaver either you like his style of indy film or you don't. I enjoyed this but mainly cause Debbie Rochon can make almost any film enjoyable.

Mulva:Zombie Ass Kicker-2000-45 minutes

This is another low budget film from Chris Seaver. We get camoes from Debbie Rochon,Trent Haaga and Lloyd Kaufman. Mulva spends Halloween night eating lots of chocolate and kicking zombie ass. Not nearly as good as Filthy McNasty. But it is short and doesn't wear out it's welcome too much.

Shock Cinema-1990-117 minutes

This is actually two documentaries that seemingly were short at some con. Brinke Stevens hosts and most of the people interviewed are pretty interesting. This set is worth getting just for this if you have any interest at all in independent horror.

All 4 films on the set are worth watching. With Ghoul School and Shock Cinema being the best of the 4. Usually I see this set going for cheap prices. It is worth 5 or 10 bucks.Depending on how much you like low budget horror/comedies.

Multipak Mondays 001

Trying something out. Who knows how long I will keep doing this. But I want to talk about a different DVD Mulitpack every Monday. Gonna try to stick to the cheap budget label ones. Where you get 10 films for $5. With most of them being from VHS sources.

Bad Taste Theater Presents Rural Folk
Brentwood
$5

Got this pack of 4 films back in 2008. I think it was mainly cause I needed something to help me hit the free shipping limit. Never bothered watching it till the other night. When I watched all four films back to back,

Inbred Rednecks-2001-135 minutes

A group of rednecks want to become rich by winning cockfights. They have this huge rooster, who they name Bigass Rooster. While there is some funny parts. The film is way too long. There was no need for this to be over 2 hours long. It would have worked much better as a 70 minute or so short film.

Super Badass-2003-72 minutes

A very strange and surreal comedy. Super Badass is a bounty hunter in a big city. The plot, what little I could make sense of,involves a clown riding around in a VW bug with flames painted on the hood. Hookers made up like clowns. And people trading peanut butter sandwiches for blowjobs. But at 72 minutes it is the perfect length for the madness.

Cornman-2001-70 minutes

A guy gains the power to talk to corn. And teams up with his sidekick Butter Boy to fight crime. This seems to be trying to be a parody of the old movie serials. And while the cast tries their best ,lots of the scenes fall flat.

Dogs in Quicksand-1999-90 minutes

Someone is murdered in a small rural town. And this sets off a strange chain of events. I really don't remember much about this besides it seems like every 8 minutes there is a sex scene. Where usually the female makes sure to cover herself up with the covers.

Cornman and Super Badass are the only reasons to track down this set. But even then I wouldn't pay more than $5 for it. Since Brentwood/BCI is out of business I am sure this is long out of print. Looking on Ebay it seems people are trying to sell it for 10 or 15 bucks. It is not worth that much.
