Rap Snax Ramen "E-40 Beef Prime Rib" Flavor

                                        
Oh man...For a few years now I have enjoyed Rap Snax chips and popcorn. They are cheap potato chips and popcorn that has each flavor named after a famous,I am guessing they are famous,rapper. Like one of my favorites is called "BBQing with my Honey",a honey BBQ flavored chip.

These chips I never see in the chain gas stations. But hit a mom and pop place and they will have them. 1 buck for a decent sized bag or 2 bucks for the full sized bag that in say Ruffles would cost ya 4 bucks.

For cheap chips they are decent. And many a road trip has been spent eating a bag of these cheap chips that Master P started up. Yep NOLA's own Master P has a snack company.

Months ago I heard that Rap Snax are branching out into cup of noodles. Figured I would grab some and try them out. Then never saw them. No one I know ever saw them. And I just gave up on them. Was grocery shopping at Sav-a-Lot.Usually once a month I take a friend of mine grocery shopping.

I had grabbed a buggy so I could pick up a few small things. Turned onto the pasta aisle and saw they had cases of 3 flavors of Rap Snax Noodles. It was a bit over a buck each cup. I grabbed 2 of each flavor.

Had just had real gumbo for lunch. Wasn't wanting something spicy for a late dinner.

 That meant E-40 and his Beef Prime Rib got choosen.I wish I had not chosen Beef Prime Rib...........
But hey there is an inspirational quote on the side above the cooking directions.

Added the water. And this stuff looks like sludge from a 80s b/w comic.

3 minutes cooking time and 1 minute cool down later I got some E-40 Beef Prime Rib to eat.

Well man I am disappointed. These cost about 10 cents more than your normal cup of noodles. But those cheaper ones also would have at least 3 or so tiny pieces of somethign that might be meat. Ain't a single piece of beef or rib in this cup.

The noodles are standard cup of noodle noodles. You do get a few pieces of corn and other vegetables. But I was figuring with the price being a slight bit higher this would be a slightly better cup of noodles.

The broth has an odd smell I can't really place.When I opened the microwave stuff like "Did you have an upset stomach again?" and "You sure the dog didn't  poop in the house again" were heard. As far as taste I was thinking at first this was suppose to be pork ribs. And wondered why it didn't taste porkish at all.

Avoid Rap Snax E-40 Beef Prime Rib Noodles. I hope the other two flavors are better.
